Will the account owner know I viewed their Story?

Do I need an Instagram account or login to use this?

No. Basic anonymous Story viewing requires no Instagram login and no signup on IGDetective. We never ask for your Instagram password. Paid tiers add Story Archive, daily auto-refresh, Admirers, DeepSearch, and Gossip Chat AI on top.

Does this work for private Instagram accounts?

No. No legitimate Instagram Story viewer can access private accounts. We only work with public profiles, which is the same set of data anyone can see by browsing Instagram itself.
